Here’s how to become an approved Polk County Public Schools volunteer:
2. Wait for your application to process
Once your application has been processed, you will be notified about your approval status within three weeks.
3. Get your ID badge and attend orientation
Get your identification badge from your school and attend a school volunteer orientation.
Approved volunteers seeking to transport students in their private vehicles must complete an additional application found below.

Whether you’re seeking to become an approved volunteer to help multiple children, you’re a parent interested in being more active in your child’s education, or you’re a student seeking community service hours, Polk County Public Schools has lots of options for you to get involved.
